i must be having a subliminal barn house infatuation, because here’s the second one i’ve posted this week, albeit quite a bit different. this netherlands barn house has a much more muted color palette of dark blue & white, and i think what really grabbed me are the white beamed ceilings. my own ceilings are vaulted and have white beams, so i’m always interested when i can see what others have done with a similar framework to mine. this home was previously a farmhouse and was transformed with loads of white paint to give it a fresh, modern update — add that amazing tile floor and navy paint accents and it really comes to life. i love the white armoire in the kitchen too, and it gives me the idea that maybe that’s where my own white armoire should take up residence — perfect for a unique looking storage option.
