Bedrooms for teenaged children may seem like a difficult task. They each have opinions and personal styles and they want to express that. In the Modern Farmhouse Project, we really wanted to take in account each of the two teenaged girl’s personalities and interests. We love how they came together, full of style and personality.
The first room we kept simple and clean with a touch of sophistication. We used a lot of white and black and infused with pops color.
Adding the hanging chair is our favorite part of the room. I’m convince that would be every teen’s dream to have in their bedroom.
The second room was very unique in layout and architecture, which presented some challenges in figuring out how to achieve the look we were going for. We got creative and love how it turned out. The bed was built in and tucked back in the dormer so we created a seating area and added a desk for studying.
